[Introduction]

Nonlinear Optics and Photonic Devices (NOPD) lab was founded in 2013. Our group studies mid-infrared photonic devices, fiber-optic devices, and quantum light sources based on nonlinear optics. We also investigate new applications of the technology in areas beyond communications including amongst others: quantum information, defense, security, and sensing.
